Helping One Another

26Nov - Monday
Pat “its a miracle” is back at Physio today and is on top of the world. She keeps repeating her sentiments about her recent single lung transplant - “its a miracle”. It’s a thrill to see her back and doing so well. Pat is our friend who received a single lung transplant when Jess was called in for the weekend a few weeks ago. It turned out that there was an infection in one lung so they couldn’t be used for Jess (she needs two good lungs). Pat received the call shortly after she left Physio (where she had been using the arm bike with her legs crossed for good luck for Jess). We are very connected here and do our best to support one another. We did a short video “Hello!” for Jess, since she is sick and not able to come to Physio today.

Carman was really missing his buds today and Marie-Eve’s Mom, Gisele was a very good sport, stepping in be be his support person (literally) when there was no free equipment for him to hold onto to. Thanks Gisele!

Another surprise visit today, came from Brian & Ann, who dropped by the Treadmill Room to say hello. Brian was transplanted this summer and was back for a check-up, looking great and doing very well. Thanks for visiting Brian & Ann, it means so much to us, to see you doing so well - and it keeps everyone motivated to work hard in the Treadmill Room!
