Twenty-one years ago today - 

It was stinkin' hot...

the bride was on time...

the guys were late...

the kids were fidgety...

the limo died...

and  we got hitched...

Happy Anniversary Baby!

Walked down to Adelaide W and York this morning (about 3km) to get my hair cut (and roots fixed, the last job faded to grey for some reason). Our friends Ron & Wanda had planned to come for lunch today, but 3 days of amp golf and a rest was more in order, so we’ll try to connect this weekend instead.

Steve & Marianne arrived around 7pm for the 10¢ tour and a short visit, then we headed out to The Blake House for dinner with them. Summerlicious is on at the moment so many restaurants have a fixed menu of 3 choices each (app, entree, dessert). While we perused the menu we had the swivel necks going as various dishes passed by to be delivered to neighbouring tables. After many ohhhs and awws over what we saw we finally settled on our choices. Carman and Marianne enjoyed the chicken pot pie (with fires because, Thursday is the new fries-day!); Steve opted for the pulled porked piled high on a bun and I chose the Summerlicious watermelon salad, seared salmon entree and a take away box for the dessert, lemon cake.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and were happy to share our anniversary with Steve and Marianne, who are looking forward to their daughter's upcoming wedding in August, and their own anniversary (30 years) this September. And...best news of all...we remembered the guest book and photo - yeah!

On Friday we’re off to London after physio again. Sonya & Jason are being married on Saturday and we’re looking forward to sharing their special day. The weather promises to be a little cooler than our last trip to London, so that will be nice also!
