Well before I tell you about us, I’m curious - have you answered my Call to Action?

If you have, thank you from the bottom of my heart...by doing so - you have taken an active role in saving Carman’s life - in 2008, his lungs were given a life expectancy of 3 to 5 years... You have also helped change the lives of countless others who are awaiting for organ and tissue donations...just by giving them hope.
Somewhere out there, is your shadow person...
They have family and friends they love, they have dreams and hopes...but do not have time on their side. Time to watch children/grandchildren grow and learn, time to take a getaway for R&R with a partner or attend a sporting event (never mind having the physical health to participate in one).
As of today, 27Aug there are 1,533 people awaiting organ transplant in Ontario alone...this does not include those in other provinces (obviously) or those who require organ transplant and are not yet “listed” in a program. These patients are in need of heart, heart/lung, kidney, kidney/pancreas, liver, lung, or whole pancreas transplantation and range in age from less than 1 year to over 80. Trillium GoL Network Currently Waiting You and your circle of friends can become their rock, an anchor of hope.

Let me be clear on this...none of us waiting are hoping that someone will die so our lived ones will live. We are just hoping beyond hope, that if a healthy potential donor meets and untimely death, they have recognized and registered the extraordinary legacy they could leave for many others...the gift of life.
