No Ordinary Monday

17Sep
Monday - an extraordinary Physio day...Retta & Rob brought their daughter and granddaughter in for a visit; we said farewell to Bob & Jo, as he has been cleared to head home post-transplant. After Physio, we met Ruth & Don in the hallway and they shared the beautiful posters the children at their Sunday school had sent along with their pastor when he visited today. Ruth had brought her camera and wanted a photo of us (now our blog photo - thanks Ruth!).

Not a drop wasted!
We headed to the McEwan Atrium and decided to stay there to enjoy our coffee in the sunshine, then Jess & Rasha came back for dinner and a visit with us.

Jess sure does love her Tall Blonde Hazelnut...

The suns was so bright (and wonderful). Once it moved between buildings though, it became blinding. I gave Jess my sunglasses and she couldn't help but strike a pose...what a classic beauty!

In post-transplant news - CTV did a follow-up on our friend Hélène who is doing so well now at home in Ottawa! We miss her smiles and giggles in the Treadmill Room, but are so happy for her as she enjoys life with her new lungs!

Hugs Hélène!
