Thurs - Today is our friend Shilpa’s birthday so a BIG shout out to her for an exciting year to come!
We have a Physio Photo Shoot scheduled today. One of our PTs is doing a presentation and has asked if she could include some photos of the Squat Squad at work on their programs. I’ve brought my camera along to hopefully get some good pics of Carman, Jess & Mark hard at work. They are in fine form, having agreed to get dressed up for the occasion!

The Squad has a good workout and are all worn out by the end of the session. As I finish recording data for the Physio session I notice that there is a note on Carman’s card from Tuesday, when Dj was coaching, referring to a “demanding patient”...hmmm, wonder who that could be?
Before we leave, the crew must get their Starbucks treat, so I call Shilpa's Mom, Sapna, and her sister, Chaitra, and ask them to join us in Physio, then come to the Atrium for a coffee. They are glad to come to the Treadmill Room and meet everyone, then head downstairs with us for a visit (notice the only 2 Starbucks cups and who has them).

Dj has remained at home to prepare our combination Welcome Jamie & Farewell Bonnie feast. Jess’ sister arrived yesterday for a one-week visit and her Godmother, Bonnie will be meeting up with her husband and heading west to visit their sons on Saturday after spending the month here. Teddy is anxiously awaiting Griffin’s arrival so they can have that play date. 
On my way to the parking lot to get the car, I notice that they are setting up for a triage test run outside the hospital. I can’t help but chuckle when I see a woman with a clip board directing traffic as 5 guys try to assemble the temporary shelter. No doubt, the instructions are with her clip board notes :o)
Dj has prepared all the fixings for a meal of build your own pizza - lots of veggie, meat and cheese choices, with some regular and homemade sauces thrown in the mix.
It is delicious! On the trip here, she had stopped at the Big Apple, near Coburg and so we have an apple caramel pie and pecan tarts for dessert options...of course, when asked if he’d like pie or a tart, Carman just answers “...sure, with a bit of ice cream please!”
We had a great visit and Teddy was just plain worn out from his play date with Griffin!
