Sisters? & The Croc Incident

31May12
Ottawa - and the traditional Costco run is on the agenda, while Dad has a sleep-in this morning! On the way we’ll exchange the spent tanks for full ones. This Google adventure took us quite a distance out of our way, to discover that the duct and HVAC company was no longer located at the address given, and indeed was not the oxygen company we were looking for at all. A quick phone call led us to the right location and Roc was only to happy to help us with what we needed, even helping us to load the new tanks in Dj’s car. They had 3 loaded when he complimented her on having a blanket to cushion them with during transport. When she asked if there was another tank to load, he told her that yes, there was and her sister had it inside...She was all too quick to inform him that I was indeed her mother and much older than I look!!
The sisters promptly paid and headed for Costco, with one of them grinning and the other very quiet during the ride!

Our visits are always richy enhance by Teddy’s antics and this time was no exception. He and I spent the evening playing tug with the variuos toys he would fish out of his toy bin and bring to me, only to return with a new one a few minutes later. The last one, a new “croc” he had just gotten the previous week, proved a short-lived game when he decided to chew it for a bit instead. It didn’t take long before the fluff was flying!

Soon enough, the croc was just a former shell of himself and an excavated squeaker!
