It’s official! The pager is activated, the paperwork is signed and Carman is now on the the transplant list!
We spent today at TGH and met with the coordinator to review pager protocol and the process once we are paged to come for a transplant, then with the pharmacy coordinator to review who covers what as far as the medications are concerned. After a break for lunch, we met with the surgeon, who went over risks and procedures for the transplant itself. Carman then signed all the paperwork and officially became a patient “on the list” for transplant!

No sharing of pager number...but nice try V-blue! In fact my phone calendar reminder alarm went off while we were having dinner with the kids and I went for my phone, while Carman went for the pager! Good practice...
