A Lazy Day of Summer

Apparently the bumper to bumper transport trucks parked from one end of our street to the other, are carrying equipment for the film crew working on a remake of Stephen King’s “Carrie 2”...hmmm didn’t they do that already? They have wrapped at the school, for now, and have moved back to Carlton Street where they are lining the curb by Allan Gardens.

Carman was up early today (around 9ish).  Post-transplant his med regimen requires that they be taken at the same time each day, within a 15 minute window of discrepancy. At present he takes his meds “whenever” so we thought it would be good to start now and establish a more consistent pattern. He sets an alarm each morning and depending on how well rested he is, takes the meds and gets up for the day...or takes the meds and goes back to sleep for an hour or two.

This morning was lovely so he headed out to the balcony for awhile... then napped for the afternoon  :o)

Around 7 I asked him if he’d like to go for a walk now in or an hour...he said “no thanks” and spent the evening on the couch!
